These easy scones are great if you haven't got a lot of time, but want a tasty treat in a few minutes. Using only three simple ingredients, anyone can make them, even the kids. I used these to make cream scones with jam and they were beautifully light and fluffy. 



175ml Lemonade - must be unopened before use

400g Self-raising flour 

175ml Double cream


Pre-heat the oven to 200.

Sift the flour into a bowl, make a well in the middle, add the wet ingredients and stir with a knife until it forms a dough.

Take out of the bowl and knead a maximum of 5 times, to ensure the air stays in the mixture, and flatten with your hands until roughly an inch thick.

Cut roughly into equal amounts, shape and place onto a tray lined with greaseproof paper.

Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden on top.

Serve with jam and whipped cream.
